DISCOVER THE Nichols
MARINE DIFFERENCE!
Welcome to Tennessee. In 1985 my wife and I made the same decision you
have made ,or are about to make...we moved to Tennessee. We love the
weather, we love the cost of living, we love the people, we love the
taxes (or lack of them), but most of all we love the boating. Here in
the Lenoir City/Knoxville/East Tennessee area we are blessed with over
200,000 acres of water. Many of our new comers have never been boaters
but once in Tennessee surrounded by water, they can't resist joining the
fun. If you are looking at either of our two beautiful planned
communities (Tellico Village or Rarity Bay), you probably are going to
end up boating. We hope that when you are in the area, you will stop by
and say "Hi!". While you have many reputable dealers to choose
from in this area, we feel that our products and our service do
differentiate us from our competitors. I would like to take a moment to
describe one of our most popular service functions:
ANNUAL FALL MAINTENANCE CLINIC
OK, your moving to Tellico Village or Rarity Bay. You've never owned a
boat but that lake sure looks great. You know you would probably like a
pontoon or deck boat, but you don't know much about them and you don't
want any hassles if you do get a boat. You don't want a trailer because
of deed restrictions, but if you don't have a trailer how do you get
service? You call around -- what you keep hearing is the same thing:
Service Call $40-$60
Minimum 1 hour labor $35-$50
Haul out if you need it $75-$150
________
Now you've spent $150-$260 AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE TO YOUR BOAT!
What's the answer? Nichols Marine's Annual Fall Maintenance Clinic. Each
year our customers (and our customers only) get and RSVP invitation to
the Fall Maintenance Clinic. Usually held the last week of October each
year, notices go out in early September requesting that you pick the
day, time and boat ramp that you wish to visit during the Clinic. You
select the service package that's appropriate, and drive to the
scheduled ramp during the scheduled time period. Up in the parking lot
you see Nichols Marine's service staff, pontoon and deck boat trailers,
tow vehicles and Customer Interior's and Canvas's mobile fabricating
shop. You get in line and after a few minutes it's your turn. As you
pull up to the ramp, Nichols service personnel help you load your boat.
Before you even get pulled off the ramp technicians are beginning the
service cycle. In the parking lot you are served free coffee and
doughnuts. Customer Interiors and Canvas checks your canvas and makes
most miner adjustments or repairs (snaps, seams, etc) on the spot for no
charge. After 45 minutes to an hour and a half, your loaded back into
your boat headed home knowing that all routine maintenance for this year
has been performed by factory trained mechanics. Ah-but how much did you
spend? Remember the $150-$260 service bill you were quoted and remember
that's just covered the visit and the haul out and nothing has even been
done to your boat yet! Well, not at Nichols Marine. Check out our 1997
pricing:

1,3,5,7, years):

Sound good? Well our Fort Loudon and Tellico Lake outboard powered deck
and pontoon boat customers have enjoyed this kind of convenience for the
past 7 years. In 1996, we serviced over 90 boats in 4 days. for 1997, we
are scheduling 6 days because of the growth in popularity of this
service. This in only one of the ways that Nichols Marine makes it
convenient for you to own a boat. Stop by and let us show you the rest
of the special things we do
